Jurnee Bent was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off only one hit. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emily Arias, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Amy Chacko, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
