After a string of seven wins, the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 81-48 loss at the hands of United Faith Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Veritas Christian Academy has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead United Faith Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Will Brown, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Brown scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was DJ Boyce Jr., who scored 18 points along with two steals.
Veritas Christian Academy's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5. As for United Faith Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.
Veritas Christian Academy will head out on the road to challenge Bethel Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for United Faith Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Norman Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Norman Christian is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
