In what's become a running theme this season, the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 64-40 margin over Indianapolis Arsenal Technical. Given Tri-West Hendricks' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while Indianapolis Arsenal Technical is ranked 344th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tri-West Hendricks was led to victory by Atta Garnett and Lauren Bear. Garnett dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, while Bear scored 20 points along with four steals. Bear hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Aniyah Anthony, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Tri-West Hendricks' victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-9. As for Indianapolis Arsenal Technical, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 7-13.
Tri-West Hendricks will challenge Indianapolis Bishop Chatard at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indianapolis Arsenal Technical, they will be playing at home against Park Tudor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
