Softball Recap: Isabella Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, Isabella rose to the challenge on Monday. They walked away with a 17-12 victory over the Central of Coosa County Cougars. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won three in a row.

Isabella's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Central of Coosa County, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Isabella wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-0 defeat against Horseshoe Bend on the 28th. Hopefully Central of Coosa County paid attention to the Mustangs' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Mustangs at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
