The Scotia-Glenville Tartans entered their tilt with the Fonda-Fultonville Braves with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Scotia-Glenville came out on top against the Braves by a score of 58-51 on Thursday.
Scotia-Glenville was led to victory by Jess Bodden and Karaline Mccarthy. Bodden dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Mccarthy scored 27 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Bodden hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Sierra O'malley, who scored nine points.
Scotia-Glenville pushed their record up to 12-6 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Fonda-Fultonville, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-10.
Scotia-Glenville will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the Indians at 4:15 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Fonda-Fultonville, they will face off against the Huskies/Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
