This season hasn't been kind to The Cross Keys Indians, who are still winless after their tenth game. They were the victim of a rough 25-0 defeat at the hands of Creekside Christian Academy on Friday.
Creekside Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Malcolm Courtland, who threw for 181 yards and three touchdowns.
Cross Keys' loss was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-10. Sadly, the team can't blame their woes on tough opposition, as that stretch included 1-8 Creekside Christian Academy and 1-8 Clarkston (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 33.3% over those games). As for Creekside Christian Academy, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-8.
Cross Keys does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Creekside Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against The King's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
