The Bowling Green Bobcats's game on Monday was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 51-41 to Whitmer. Bowling Green has not had much luck with Whitmer recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Whitmer had a senior duo take command as Mackenzie Royal-davis scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals and Jada Shoup scored 13 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Bralynne Dunn, who scored six points along with three steals.
Bowling Green's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Whitmer, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bowling Green will take on Clay at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Clay is coming into the game with three straight defeats on the road, meaning Bowling Green will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Whitmer, they will be playing at home against Northview at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Whitmer focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Monday.
