The Paducah Dragons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 67-48 victory over Roby. The victory was nothing new for Paducah as they're now sitting on four straight.
Jakyen Wright continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. The game was his 12th in a row with at least ten points. Maverick Monroe was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Paducah pushed their record up to 10-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Roby, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paducah will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Patton Springs at 8:00 p.m. on January 11, 2024. Roby will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rule at 12:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
