Bainbridge found their leader in underclassman DaNydia Campbell, who scored 15 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Campbell scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Miyah Williams, who scored nine points along with five steals.
When it comes to explaining why Cairo lost, one person who can't be blamed is Makhia Evers. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Shaquara Mills was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Bainbridge's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Cairo, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with that defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.
