Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central). They blew past the North Central Knights 84-63 on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles who have now won three matchups in a row.

Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tazhir Webber out in front who posted 22 points and six steals. That's the most points Webber has posted since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Jordan Crowder, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds.

Central's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for North Central, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Central will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Anson at 7:30 p.m. Anson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Central likes a good challenge. As for North Central, they will head out on the road to take on York Prep at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
