Piqua is 0-10 against Butler since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Piqua Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Butler Aviators at 6:00 p.m. Piqua is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
On Saturday, Piqua blew past Fairborn, posting a 55-28 victory at home.
Meanwhile, Butler entered their tilt with Troy with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Butler blew past Troy 48-15 on the road.
Piqua's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Butler, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Piqua took a serious blow against Butler when the teams last played back in November of 2022, falling 62-13. Can Piqua avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
