Highland scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 48-38 to the East Leopards. The defeat leaves the Rams without a win on the season.

Margaret Hartle and Katinia Olevao certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Hartle went 6 for 8 on her way to 15 points and five rebounds, while Olevao posted seven points along with nine boards and five assists. The dominant performance gave Olevao a new career-high in rebounds.

East's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaylah Dulin, who earned 19 points and five steals. East is 4-1 when Dulin posts three or more steals, but 1-14 otherwise. Aundrea Dennett was another key player, putting up 13 points and five steals.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 0-21. As for East, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15.
