The Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers pushed their score all the way to 57 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 66-57 to Beth Haven. Pleasure Ridge Park was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Beth Haven apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beth Haven to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isaac Cornwell, who scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Michael Ray Stinnett, who scored 16 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Pleasure Ridge Park and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Beth Haven, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Pleasure Ridge Park will head out on the road to face off against Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Beth Haven, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Holy Cross at 7:30 p.m. Holy Cross knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Beth Haven likes a good challenge.
