The Summit Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Conifer Lobos at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Summit's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
It was a proper cat-fight when Summit faced off against Evergreen on Saturday. The Tigers blew past the Cougars 16-9. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jonathan Gambino was excellent, going 3-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. He has become a key player for Summit: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Jayce Rainey also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Summit kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2025.
Meanwhile, Conifer sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over Central on Wednesday.
Brandon Roe and Luke Adams made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Roe tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Meanwhile, Adams tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Roe went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run, while Adams went 3-for-5 with one run and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Roe has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Andrew Janasiewicz, who went 4-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Dillon Tracy was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Summit pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Conifer, they now also have a winning record of 4-3.
Summit came out on top in a nail-biter against Conifer when the teams last played back in March of 2025, sneaking past 10-8. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lobos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
