Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Galax). They blew past the Chilhowie Warriors 76-24 on Monday. The Maroon Tide have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 22 points or more this season.

Galax's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Chilhowie, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Galax and Elkin will compete for holiday cheer at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Chilhowie, they will be home for the holidays to greet Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
