The Battle Ground Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 74-23 loss at the hands of Union. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Battle Ground has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Battle Ground lost, one person who can't be blamed is Skylar Fridriksson. Despite the final result, she scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. Fridriksson continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Battle Ground's defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-5. As for Union, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Battle Ground won't have much time to rest: their next game is against West Albany at 3:45 p.m. on December 16th. Union won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Gig Harbor at 5:30 p.m. on December 16th.
