Gabrielino is 9-1 against the Knights since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Gabrielino Eagles will be playing at home against the Arroyo Knights at 6:30 p.m. Gabrielino knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully the Knights like a good challenge.
Gabrielino put the finishing touches on their 12th blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Rosemead with a sharp 60-38 win.
Meanwhile, Arroyo unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 41-34 to South El Monte.
Gabrielino is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for Arroyo, their loss dropped their record down to 11-13.
Everything came up roses for Gabrielino against the Knights in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 57-28 victory. Does Gabrielino have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
