The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. This Friday Shaw (7-3-0) takes on Smithville (9-3) in the first playoff game of the year.
Shaw didn't allow a single point to Coffeeville last game and won 0 - 0.
Meanwhile, Smithville has netted another blowout to add to its collection (now totaling six) after its most recent game. It breezed past Biggersville last week with a final score of 27 - 6. Senior Caleb Leech deserves a lot of the credit as he ran for 113 yards and also punched in two touchdowns.
