The Kennedy Fighting Irish's's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 41-17 margin over Valencia. The result was nothing new for Kennedy, who have now won five matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
Devin Almazan looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 207 yards and four touchdowns. Izaiah Murphy was another key contributor, picking up 53 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Although Valencia took the loss, they still got scores from Nicholas Sandoval and Charles Denny.
Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Valencia, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6.
Kennedy will square off against Crean Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valencia, they will be playing at home against Pacifica at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
