McCallie enjoyed a cozy 62-47 win over Christ Presbyterian Academy. The win made it back-to-back wins for McCallie.
McCallie got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ryan Wingard out in front who scored ten points along with eight rebounds. Wingard also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenneth Chime, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
McCallie pushed their record up to 9-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points per game. As for Christ Presbyterian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
McCallie won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Montgomery Bell Academy at 2:30 p.m. on December 16th. Montgomery Bell Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 198 points over their last three games. Christ Presbyterian Academy will take on Stewarts Creek in a holiday battle at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday at. Stewarts Creek will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 187th, while Christ Presbyterian Academy is ranked 27th).
