The Loretto Mustangs waltzed into their matchup Monday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They walked away with a 48-39 victory over Mars Hill Bible. That's another feather in the cap for Loretto, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Ally Weathers, who scored 23 points. The matchup was her ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Libby Sanders, who scored eight points.
Loretto pushed their record up to 8-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Mars Hill Bible, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-1.

Moore County's defense has only allowed 28.4 points per game this season, so Loretto's offense will have their work cut out for Loretto.
