NC GBB Academy National proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 35) but on Sunday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged 1 of 1 Academy out 73-71. The victory made it back-to-back wins for NC GBB Academy National.
NC GBB Academy National's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Khloe Miller, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. Jamaria Freeman was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with three steals.
Mt. Zion Prep Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for NC GBB Academy National, they now have a winning record of 14-13.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Mt. Zion Prep Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 59.2 points per game. However, it's not like NC GBB Academy National struggles in that department as they've been averaging 60.9 points per game. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
