Soren Etheridge posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 19 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
