Baseball Recap: Henry County Extends Winning Streak to Four

Henry County waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Gallatin County a 14-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Henry County, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Baylor Nolin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Jaylan Hortenbury also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Henry County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April.

Henry County's record is now 10-11. As for Gallatin County, they dropped their record down to 1-18 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
