Wayne Memorial had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Lincoln Abes.

Wayne Memorial's win bumped their record up to 4-25. As for Lincoln, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.

Wayne Memorial didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-0 loss against Lincoln on the 17th. Hopefully the Abes paid attention to the Zebras' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Zebras at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
