For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Berry and Marion County meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Berry Wildcats fell 9-5 to the Marion County Red Raiders. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Red Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Berry's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Marion County, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-5.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Berry Wildcats challenge Brilliant Tigers at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday. Marion County has already played their next match (against South Lamar), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
