Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Magnus Merriman stepped things up a notch to give Viewpoint the 'W'. Merriman threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt, which was good enough to set a new career-high in passing touchdowns.

Merriman and Viewpoint will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on California City at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th.
