Lisle had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Chicago Hope Academy a 2-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for Lisle, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Frankie Zifcak and Arav Amin scored both of Lisle's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Lisle's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Chicago Hope Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lisle will welcome Oak Forest at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chicago Hope Academy, they will host Timothy Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
