 On the hitting side,  Dom Murrell and  Brandon Kiebles stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Murrell  went 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  stolen base, while  Kiebles  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  double,  and one  RBI. Wheaton Academy is 4-1 when  Murrell posts two or  more  runs, but 3-8 otherwise.
 Bishop McNamara has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Wheaton Academy, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 7-9.
