After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Viewmont, Alta was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Skyline Eagles 15-14. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Alta got a massive performance out of Brielle Watson, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs Watson has posted since back in May of 2025. Bailey Thompson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Alta kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
