C1 District 3 recap October 8, 2013
Wahoo took down Raymond Central 21-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Josh Langemeier ran for 127 yards during the win.
Bishop Neumann made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,233 from 4,695. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 29-28 victory over Ashland-Greenwood last week.
Travis Carnahan provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Cavaliers bested the Bluejays. He completed 3 passes for 87 yards and also ran for 128 yards.
Justin Jarman was the best wideout in C1 District 3 this week as the Warriors topped the Mustangs. Jarman racked up 5 receptions for 53 yards. Ethan Stratman helped Wahoo's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 12 yards.
Raymond Central's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Mustangs feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ben Lodema has thrown for 969 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, while Sam Isaacson has 33 catches for 576 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Wahoo takes on Bishop Neumann. As it stands, Chad Fox's team is in first, while Tim Turman's team is in third.
The Cavaliers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 29 points on Ashland-Greenwood. Carnahan ran for 128 yards in the win.
