Brayden Sturm continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Milbrath, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Springfield's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-6. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.67 points. As for Wabasso, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield will take on Sleepy Eye at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sleepy Eye has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 795 points over their last 12 contests. As for Wabasso, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last ten matches.
