C.H. Yoe hasn't had much luck against Lexington recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The C.H. Yoe Yoemen will be playing at home against the Lexington Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Lexington will be up against a hot C.H. Yoe team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. C.H. Yoe came out on top against Grand Oaks by a score of 10-6 on Saturday.

The team relied heavily on Josie Laureano, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (three). Diana Salomon was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
C.H. Yoe kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in seven consecutive games.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lexington). They were the clear victor by a 12-1 margin over Giddings on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Buffaloes: they've now won four in a row.
Taylor Akin made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Lexington let Avery Rodriguez and Taylor Martinez run wild. Rodriguez scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Martinez went 1-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Averie Mathews, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
C.H. Yoe's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Lexington, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. C.H. Yoe hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .448. However, it's not like Lexington struggles in that department as they've averaged .315. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
C.H. Yoe might still be hurting after the 12-2 loss they got from Lexington in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will C.H. Yoe have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
