They were dealt  a  50-23 loss at the hands of the Bob Jones Patriots. The Tigers have struggled against the Patriots recently, as their game  on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
 Bob Jones had a senior duo take command as  Johnny Jackson threw for 288 yards and four touchdowns and  Caleb Sanders gained 90 total yards and four touchdowns. Another player making a difference was  Malachi Foster, who picked up 131 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Grissom now  has a losing record at 1-2. As for Bob Jones, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grissom will square off against James Clemens at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. James Clemens will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Grissom surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bob Jones, they will take on Florence at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
