Leading Liberty Christian Academy to victory were Sarah Minner and Hollyn Thigpen. Minner scored 14 points along with four steals, while Thigpen scored 17 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Thigpen has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Taylor Rooks, who scored four points along with three steals.
Despite the loss, Jacksonville Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Nylah Moore, who scored 24 points along with six assists and six steals. That was a full 58.5% of Jacksonville Christian Academy's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Goodson, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Even though they lost, Jacksonville Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Liberty Christian Academy only pulled down seven offensive rebounds.
Liberty Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-12 record this season. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
