The Hardin-Central Bulldogs lost to the Kingsville Tigers back in February of 2023, but the Hardin-Central Bulldogs didn't allow the Kingsville Tigers the same satisfaction on Friday. Hardin-Central snuck past the Tigers with a 31-26 victory.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hardin-Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Schachtele, who scored six points. Another player making a difference was Hannah Finley, who scored seven points.
The win got Hardin-Central back to even at 10-10. As for Kingsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
Hardin-Central will head out on the road to take on the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kingsville, they and the Bearcats will face off at 5:00 p.m. on February 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for Orrick and three for the Tigers.
