The Elsie Allen Lobos lost against the Ukiah Wildcats on January 12th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Elsie Allen lost to Ukiah on the road by a decisive 47-32 margin. Elsie Allen has struggled against Ukiah recently, as their contest on Monday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Ukiah got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tony Zacarias out in front who scored 18 points along with three steals. Zacarias has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Omaurie Phillips-Porter was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Elsie Allen's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Ukiah, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 20-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Healdsburg the next time they take the court. Elsie Allen will host Healdsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Ukiah will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
