If the Medina Christian Academy Knights were feeling good off their 44-13 takedown of the Lake Ridge Academy Royals on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Medina Christian Academy fell just short of Andrews Osborne Academy by a score of 29-27.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ann Sems, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Ashley Conwill, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Medina Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Andrews Osborne Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Medina Christian Academy will take on Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Andrews Osborne Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Jefferson Area at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
