Everything went their way against the Morton Indians on Saturday as the Post Antelopes made off with a 21-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Antelopes, who have now won six games by nine runs or more so far this season.
Hannah Abraham made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zailey Perez, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Rylee Hernandez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
