The Leake County Gators won against the Mount Olive Pirates last Tuesday with 50 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Leake County simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mount Olive 50-11 at home. Winning may never get old, but Leake County sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
It was another big night for Kaitlyn Chapman, who scored 11 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Krysten Morgan, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Leake County's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Mount Olive, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Mississippi School for the Deaf the next time they take the court. Leake County will head out to face Mississippi School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Mount Olive will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
