While Hersey put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Rolling Meadows. The Huskies were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Mustangs. The Huskies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Hersey has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Rolling Meadows, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-18.

Hersey has already played their next game, an 11-1 victory against Buffalo Grove on the 14th. As for Rolling Meadows, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-6 win against Elk Grove on the 14th.
