The Richmond Red Devils put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Greensburg and snuck past 48-45. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Richmond has scored all year.
Mason Carpenter was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points. Another player making a difference was Cedric Horton, who scored 12 points.
When it comes to explaining why Greensburg lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jack Mckinsey. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with four steals. Mckinsey scored a full 48.9% of Greensburg's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Drew Busick was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Richmond's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Greensburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.
