Southeast Lauderdale is a perfect 3-0 against McLaurin since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Southeast Lauderdale is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Last Friday, Southeast Lauderdale came up short against Union and fell 10-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost three in a row.

Karly Hollingsworth made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Adrianna Stephens also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

Meanwhile, McLaurin unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak last Thursday. They took a 19-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Scott Central.

Kami Howell and Kaydann Reed did some serious damage despite the final result: Howell scored two runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances, while Reed scored two runs while going 2-for-6. Gabby Taylor was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Southeast Lauderdale's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for McLaurin, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Southeast Lauderdale has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .488. However, it's not like McLaurin struggles in that department as they've averaged .459. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Everything went Southeast Lauderdale's way against McLaurin in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Southeast Lauderdale made off with a 13-2 win. Will Southeast Lauderdale repeat their success, or does McLaurin have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
