Desert Ridge faced off against Gila Ridge for the first time this season, and Desert Ridge walked away the winners. They had just enough and edged Gila Ridge out 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Desert Ridge also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Spencer Brown and
Talen Hoff, who scored.
The win got Desert Ridge back to even at 7-7-1. As for Gila Ridge, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Desert Ridge will head out on the road to challenge Desert Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Desert Vista will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Gila Ridge will take on San Luis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Luis will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
