Even though the Lordstown Red Devils scored an imposing 64 points on Friday, the Windham Bombers still came out on top. Windham managed a 69-64 victory over Lordstown. That's another feather in the cap for Windham, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
When it comes to explaining why Lordstown lost, one person who can't be blamed is Gannon Force. Despite the final result, he scored 32 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The match was Force's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Thomas Owens, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Windham's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lordstown, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windham will take on Chalker at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lordstown, they will be playing at home against Harding at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Harding focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
