The Richland Springs Coyotes can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Rochelle 69-22 on the road. The win was nothing new for Richland Springs as they're now sitting on 12 straight.
Richland Springs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayden Sutherland, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Sutherland hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Connor Womack, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Richland Springs' win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Rochelle, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Richland Springs will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lohn at 6:00 p.m. Lohn comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Rochelle, they will head out on the road to face off against Brookesmith at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rochelle and Brookesmith are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
