Grace Smyth was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-5.
 Even though they lost, Bridges Prep  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, First Baptist School earned  a  12-7 victory over Hilton Head Christian Academy  on Thursday.
 First Baptist School's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 3-0. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 12.3 runs this season. As for Bridges Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
