Middletown extended their winning streak to four on Friday, bumping them up to 5-4. They enjoyed a cozy 26-12 win over the Kingston Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Middie Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for Kingston, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 299th, while Middletown is ranked 106th).

Although Kingston took the loss, they still got scores from Carter Ricketson and Calvin Byrd-Towns.

Middletown wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 21-16 victory against Newburgh Free Academy on the 7th. As for Kingston, they have also already played their next matchup, a 24-21 win against Roosevelt on the 6th.
