After flying high against the Landmark Christian Patriots back in November, the North Kissimmee Christian Lions came back down to earth. North Kissimmee Christian had to suffer through a rough 54-27 loss at the hands of Heritage Prep. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for North Kissimmee Christian in their matchups with Heritage Prep: they've now lost three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Grace Isnord, who scored 15 points along with 9 rebounds. Isnord is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last three games she's played. Kylee Trent was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 9 rebounds.
North Kissimmee Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Heritage Prep, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Liberty Christian Prep the next time they take the court. Heritage Prep will host Liberty Christian Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while North Kissimmee Christian will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
