The Highland Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight loss. They lost to Madison at home by a decisive 46-28 margin. While losing is never fun, Highland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Madison is ranked 16th).
Several Rams players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Daisy Agado, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Rian Pokibro, who scored seven points.
Highland has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season. As for Madison, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-6.
Highland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Madison also has no future games currently scheduled.
